NEXT SHOT-WEEK 3: A PLACE I ALWAYS RETURN TO FOR A SHOT
I often go to any of the typical neighbourhoods as I always find something interesting that catches my eyes. This afternoon, I went out and wandered through a neighbourhood that's typical among black people. So many live over there! Despite the fine weather, the restaurant was closed. It opens from monday to saturday, only!

Next Shot week 3 - A Place I always return to for a shot
Photographic Group for Creative Photography
Hi all sorry I am a little late this week I have been busy .
There will be one theme each week, members will have 7 days to contribute before the next theme.
There is only one rule for the Group:
No Archive shots are allowed all contributions must be shots taken for the theme.
If for some reason a member cannot get a shot for the theme they should not contribute that week.
Thanks to those who contributed Last week there were some fantastic contributions.
This week add your contribution below as a New Post, thanks in advance for contributing this week;)
You know how sometimes you find a place and no matter how many times you go there you can always find your "Next Shot"?
So this weeks theme is: "A Place I always return to for a shot " again totally open to interpretation but it must be a shot taken for the theme.
This is a shot from my archive to stimulate thought its the place I call the Mirror Pool at Avon Heath just 5 minutes from my house.
I will post my own contribution later in the week, Have fun and think out of the box;)

Next Shot - Favourite Things - 3/7/13
A small explanation perhaps. My cats are associal, very seldom to found together in closely knit group, and Mr. Swiss will definitely not pose for a photo in Internet. Of course my computer is a favourite, my iPad and the hundreds of books I have, but not photo worthy. About a couple of months ago Mr. Swiss decided we needed something comfortable for our older days, and ordered two "Stressless" chairs which are actually made in Norway. Just perfect, all especially constructed for golden oldies. My favourite place to relax in the evening, when I am not otherwise busy.

Lynda's Next Shot week 2: These are a few of my Favourite things
Next Shot week 2: These are a few of my Favorite things
Working with the horses.
Seeing how they react to new things.
And Capturing that moment with the camera.
I think you can click on the photo to enlarge. Photo was taken this afternoon (3/7/2013) with the little Canon Powershot A1300HD. Singed in Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. The obstacle is 2 shower curtains hug from a rod. They blow and whip in the wind. Little Joe was curious, a bit stubborn but also a comedian with his reaction. He grabbed the curtain with his teeth. The idea of this obstacle is to aquatint the horses with things blowing in the wind, etc. Just never know what the wind is going to blow in your direction when out riding.
Horse is Doc De Oros Poco Joe aka as Little Joe
Location: our place, the Rockin' Heart Ranch in the Texas Panhandle

Next Shot 25/2/13: Closer Than Usual ~ Belita
This afternoon, it was quite an experience ascending the Church of Monastery of São Vicente de Fora’s tower (Monastery of St. Vincent Outside the Walls), a 17th century church and monastery in the city of Lisbon, and take a photo of the old clock mechanisms (gearwheels?). The brass dial which used to set the time is inscribed: made in 1773 and renovated in 1821, as a consequence of the Lisbon Earthquake. The clock has remained in the tower, though it’s out of service.

Lynda's Next Shot 25 Feb 2013 - Closer than Usual?
We are in the middle of a bad blizzard with very high winds and drifting snow. Before daylight this morning I opened the back bedroom window. Hand held camera, automatic with flash. Quickly took photos and shut the window. Baz, I hope I posted correctly. If not please let me know. I will post this link on Muzenws.

Next Shot 2013
Hi all I have to apologize I have been really slack in getting Next Shot back up and running since we left Multiply. The bout of Bronchitis I had late in the year really put me back and I have had to catch up on lots of work at home and on my work web site.
So before I get things going again I just wanted to get a rough idea who would still be interested if I start posting on a weekly basis again?

Next Shot ~ The Night Before Christmas
Tuesday, 25 December 2012
Christmas Eve Night at the Rockin' Heart Ranch
Beautiful Texas panhandle sunset.
And a moon that is gradually being covered by clouds.
Then a roaring fire to keep warm and wait for the winter storm that brought bad weather this morning.
